I was born in 1970 and grew up in Tønder near the Danish/German border. After finishing high school, I ended up at the teacher training college in Aalborg.

At the college, I became acquainted with Henrik Kjelds, who taught art. Henrik was very inspiring and probably already back then sparked a desire in me to paint.

It wasn't until after completing my studies in 1996 and working as a teacher for many years that a team-building trip, where we had to paint a picture, reignited my need to express myself in that way.

However, it was a rather slow start in late 2007 when my first paintings saw the light of day.

However, many more paintings have been created since then.
